whither the BC effect??
where are signs of BC effects --- hope the spirit of breakthroughs have not died that soon -
looking at the numbers of training we go through and the trainings that are happenings or even those that are getting cancelled - aiban suggested that we have a train perhaps a shatadi /rajdhani that coaches where we conduct trainings - good ideas but we may need GOI or GON to construct railroads for us.....

MY VISION FOR NE (written at the start of ORCHID, 2004)
sharing the vision I set for myself and the team as we came to Guwahati to recruit the team
6. Utimate goal - KINGDOM BUILDING - sustainability by internalising kingdom principles, values and practices
5. Long term goal - NATION BULDING -NE blessing and building the nation, reversing the flow/opening the floodgates
4. Intermediate goal - CONFIDENCE BUILDING - abundance mentality, abundance of untapped resources

sharing some snippets without your permission!
My breakdown was that I am fat and not fit. My breakthrough is that I need to start working out and have been doing that. My dateline is to lose 10 kg and 2 inch at waist by .............
The motivational training has helped me not only to clearly think about my career but also helped me in the home front. I have requested my wife to be my coach for my health>

It reminds me once again that God created me and has given me a very unique gift which is inside me so its a time for me to find it
out and used it for Him
Now my thinking is changed, I realised that I should not give up instead I must bring out my inner voice “ I CAN DO IT”
To make daily Motto and seek God guidance in fulfilling the day with a happy note.
The motivational workshop was helpful for me to reinforce what I have believed in and was a good time to pause and reflect on yourself

1. What next for ORCHID beyong 2013?
a - Will the present team be willing and able to transform into a new structure to work and function in the NE region for different social and health development issues apart from drug use and HIV/AIDS?
b - Maternal and Child health and cancer are almost alarming in magnitude as public health problems in our region. Should we be addressing these?
c - Who will be our key stakeholders (funders, partners) should we decide to address such health issues?
2. Will the present team be moulded into separate tracks?
a - harm reduction consultant track
b - Master trainer track
c - NGO financial management consultant track
d - New initiatives track - other health issues
e - Research, Media, Policy and practice track
f - Alternative livelihood track - business, cattle/pig/poultry/fish farming, etc. :P

Motivated
In an office, when everyone is busy talking- over phone or with each other...there is a very high chance that they are working. The most disturbing environment is when it is all quiet and no sound.. it usually means that no one is working...
